Redesigning the Helmet

In softball, head on collisions between players and the softball are a major issue. I was challenged to create a piece of equipment that was both functional, and could prevent injury. I created the two face mask/helmets above. One to prevent injury now, and one to change the game altogether. Both include better protection, increased efficiency and the heighten the level that the game is played at.
